Set up Outlook Express for IMAP

Follow these steps to set up Microsoft Outlook Express to work with an IMAP mail server.

1. From the main menu bar, select Tools, then choose Accounts from the pull-down menu.
   
   
   
   
2. In the dialog box, click the Add button.
   
   
   
   
3. Type your name in the box. Then click Next.
   
   
   
   
4. Enter your email address. Then click Next.
   
   
   
   
5. Select IMAP as your mail server. Fill in the Incoming and Outgoing mail fields as shown. Then click Next.
   
   Click Next until you complete the account wizard.
   
   Your account now is set up for IMAP support.
