Configuring Netscape Navigator 4 and Netscape Communicator
(without using the setup discs and wizard)
1. Start Netscape Navigator. It is not necessary to be
connected online. If the Unable to make a Connection
message comes up, just click OK.
2. Select the Edit menu, then select Preferences.
3. Select Navigator and for Home Page Location enter http://www.dycon.com/
4. Click on the plus beside Mail and Groups.
5. Select
Mail Server.
For Mail Server user name, enter your
user name.
For Outgoing mail (SMTP) server, enter mail.dycon.com .
For Incoming mail server, enter mail.dycon.com.
6. Select Idenity, then enter your name as you prefer it to be shown on your E-mail.
Next, enter your Email address then click
OK.
