Setting the modem disconnect time on Windows
- Begin at Windows Start
- Go to Settings
- Open up your Control Panels
- Select the Internet Options Icon
- On the Tab Menu select Connections
- Select the Settings button
- Select the Advanced button

Dynamic Internet does not operate modem timers on our end. If you wish to disconnect when your computer becomes idle, leave the checkbox marked and tell your modem when to disconnect. Otherwise, you can leave the box unchecked.
