CONFIGURING INTERNET EXPLORER 3.02/INTERNET MAIL
1. Start Internet Explorer (it is not necessary
to be connected), if the "Unable to make a connection"
message comes up, just click OK.
2. Select the View menu, then Options.
3. Click the Connection tab
4. Click the Navigation tab. In the under start
page, in the Address box, enter http://www.dycon.com then click
OK.
5. Click on Mail, then read mail.
6. If this is the first time setting up your mail, you will
see an Internet Mail Configuration guide. Click Next.
7. Enter your name as you wish it to appear on your E-mail in
the Name box. Then in the Email Address box, put your E-Mail
address. Then click Next.
8. In the boxes for Incoming Mail (POP3) Server and Outgoing
Mail (SMTP) Server, put mail.dycon.com. Then click Next.
9. Make sure Logon using: is checked. In Account Name, enter
your user name and your password in that box. Then click Next.
10. Check the box that says "I use a modem to access my
email". Select Dynamic Internet to use as the Dial-Up
Networking connection. Then click Next.
