Part III: Finishing the Internet Setup Assistant

 

Enter the domain name servers

Enter the domain name servers exactly as above and put "dycon.com" as your your domain name.

 

 

Enter your username and password

Enter your username and password.

 

 

Enter mail server info

Enter your "username"@mail.dycon.com and put "mail.dycon.com" as the mail server.

 

 

Leave this field

Currently, Dynamic Internet does not have a news server. You can optionally choose to leave this field blank or keep the default, if one is already entered.

 

 

Leave No filled

Leave "No" filled.

 

 

That's it!  You're done

That's it! You're done. Leave the box checked "Connect when finished" and click "Go Ahead" to make a connection.

To make future connections:

  • Simply launch a browser or email application
  • Go to: Apple Menu > Remote Access Status and press "Dial"
  • Go to: Apple Menu > Internet Access and select "Browse the Internet"
  • Double Click the "Browse the Internet" or "Email" icons

 

To make Dynamic's Home Page your default homepage:

Go to: Apple Menu > Control Panels > Internet
Expand the size of the box by clicking the small Edit Sets triangle to a downward position. Select the tab marked Web. Under the Default Pages enter "http://www.dycon.com" as your Home Page.

Close and save your changes to the current set.
