Part II: Using the Internet Setup Assistant

The pictures below demonstrate how to setup your Mac to use Dynamic Internet through the Apple Internet Setup Assistant. Be sure to have your username and password available for the necessary fields.

Name the Internet Configuration Dynamic Internet
Name the Internet Configuration "Dynamic Internet"

 

 

Select the kind of modem you own
Select the kind of modem you own. If you are not sure what kind of modem you have, contact the vendor from which you purchased your Mac.

 

 

Put your username and password
Basic users should use 553-2612 as the dial-up number. The username and password under the "Access Information" of your Dynamic Internet paperwork should go in the next two fields in all lower cases.
